What We Do

In a tumultuous world of economic challenges, divorce, death, bullying, gangs children are not learning the tools to express and control their emotions.  They are becoming defiant, out of control, and lost.  Many parents are struggling with finances, personal problems, adult relationships, and multiple jobs. Therefore,  are unable to spend time connecting and nurturing their children.  This is when the community has to step in and provide assistance to these struggling families.  The Peacock Foundation aids children and families struggling to create and maintain positive relationships in their lives.  We focus on building compassion, impulse control, communication skills, and self-understanding through group therapy programs.

These programs are implemented at existing organizations to expedite the provision of services to those who need them most.    Unique programs are created to fit the specific needs of each organization/facility we partner with.  We work side by side the staff educating them on the special needs of their populations, self-care, individual plans for problem children, and mandated reporting.  The cooperative team that we build has enabled us to impact the children both actively and passively.

We are always striving to find new ways to better serve the children and the organizations we partner with.
