Animals

The Peacock Foundation has dedicated its existence to the partnering of therapists and animals.  To keep our dream alive we are adapting our programs to sustain themselves independently.  We are now partnering with animal education facilities, and private owners to pair our therapists with animals that are no longer cared for by The Peacock Foundation.  We continue to remain actively involved in all of our animals lives and now advocate for many more.  Here are some of our partnering animals…

Ricky

I have been working with the Peacock Foundation since 2003.  I was rescued by an animal trainer from an abusive home.  Since 2003 I have loved on more than 1000 children.  Keep in touch! @rickybubadog or find me on FB Ricky Peacock!

Pali, "Monster"

I was found wandering the Arrowhead Mountains.  After a visit to the veterinarian it was decided I was 12 years old and had been a breeding dog.  I have had surgery to remove tumors from all over my body and have gone blind.  However, my life is full of care and nurturing as the children carry me gently around.

Ryla

I was adopted by The Peacock Foundation from the LA Animal Services West Valley Location in 2008.  I am now 6 and loving my new home!  I have lots of energy to play with all the children I meet.

Spot

I was the first animal adopted by The Peacock Foundation.  I have seen a lot of change throughout the past 9 years.  And I am proud to say that I am still here to enjoy it!

Dan

I am a blue-tongued skink  and I came to the foundation in 2007.  I enjoy getting out and meeting new people so this is the perfect home for me!

Caesar and Brutus

We came to the Foundation in 2009.  We were found in a backyard and unable to care for ourselves.  We are growing fast but might outlive all of the staff!
